System description ALTRATEC and technical data:

The transfer system is preferably used in series production for material flow design and for loosely linking manual/automatic workstations and manual/automatic work stations using workpiece carriers (WPCs).
The workpiece carriers are transported using the accumulating roller principle. On the sections between the various workstations, the workpiece carriers can be buffered.
In the upper and lower runs, the workpiece carriers can be stopped at any point. In the area of the deflection points, the transport takes place with a positive locking mechanism.
At the manual workstations or automatic stations, the WPCs are stopped, if necessary, pre-separated, and positioned.
The end workpiece carrier deflection points must be secured against manual intervention in the area of manual workstations by means of safety devices. In the area of automatic handling devices, these are usually secured with the safety device of the handling device.
At the end of the line, the WPCs must be checked for their loading status. Only empty WPCs may be released for circulation into the return line.

Mechanical equipment:
- 1 piece: Conveyor section, approx. 4,400 mm long, consisting of conveyor profiles, including steel supports for accumulating roller chain in ALTRATEC standard design, with automatic and two-sided spring tension. Two Vulkollan rollers on the chain tension side – when starting up.
- 4 pieces: Supports, heavy-duty, made of ALTRAPROFIL with adjustable feet, foundation fastening angles without dowels, for a conveyor height of approx. 950 mm (top of WPC),
- 6 pieces: Stop station with 2 separators/stoppers each, lightweight design, arranged in parallel, pneumatically actuated, closed and single-acting when not actuated. Both positions are queried. Design 2 x with integrated backflow lock,
- 1 piece: Permanent chain lubrication. Perma Classic with two lubrication points integrated into the longitudinal profiles,

- 10 pieces: WPC queries on the conveyor section, 2 pieces component checks as a light barrier with reflector.
