Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Bio-waste Ordinance (BioAbfV) Ideal for organic waste separation: Easily meet the statutory 1% threshold!

From May 2025, organic waste may only be treated if the contaminant content is below 1.0% by weight. Our Lepton 5100 has been specifically designed for this requirement.

Lepton 5100 Advantages: Separation instead of Shredding

- Gentle Bag Opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without shredding the contents. A pre-shredder (slow-speed) is not required!
- Maximum Film Size: Plastic films remain largely intact and are efficiently removed during the first screening process, before they can fragment in the compost windrow due to turning, heat, and UV exposure.
- Highest Purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and ensures high end-product quality.

Innovative Process (Flexibly Controllable):

- Organic Waste Processing (2-fraction mode): Reversible mid-size discharge belt brings together medium and fine fractions for a homogeneous mix. Result: Clean target fraction for digestion/composting plus coarse fraction with films/contaminants.
- Compost Refinement (3-fraction mode): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic separation effect removes stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction belt. Integrated air separators remove any remaining film residues.

Current Application: Successful organic waste processing for wet digestion. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogeneous fraction for the fermenter, preventing the formation of sink or floating layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: Live demonstration available at our partner facility in the Kelheim district. Processing steps can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
