Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes, e.g. hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, baby wipes, disinfecting wipes. The production process includes unwinding of the nonwoven from the jumbo roll, slitting for a 2-lane production process (until packaging), dipping into liquid, longitudinal folding in Z- or W-fold, cross cutting (tissue length), 1 x cross folding, stacking, continue to packaging unit which handles film feeding and wrapping wet wipes, punching the hole (to open the pack), positioning of reclosable label, bag cutting/heat sealing. Integrated splice units increase efficiency during material, film and label role changeover. - Specifications: suitable for dry nonwovens (airlaid, spunlaid); folds: Z or W shape (change of folding tool necessary); fold face adjustable per side; dimensions of folded tissue: L(70-100)xW(40-100) mm; dimensions of unfolded tissue: L(140-200)xW(140-200) mm; number of wet wipes per pack (min. to max.): 5-30 pieces; grammage wet wipe: 35-80g/m²; speed of the machine in neutral: max. 900 wipes/minute or max. 90 packs/minute; bag size: depending on folding dimensions and number of wipes per pack; film roll dimensions: width max. 280 mm, diameter: max. 400 mm; suitable films: OPP film (transparent, printed or laminated); nonwoven jumbo roll dimensions: width 280-400 mm, diameter max. 1200 mm; label roll dimensions: width max. 60 mm, diameter max. 300 mm; power: 25kW, 380V; machine dimensions: L8500xW1520xH2350 mm; weight: 5000kg.
