OPERATING PROCESS
Pre-filled cans are automatically fed into the ANGELUS 120L seamer, where they are positioned for the sealing operation.
The system feeds and places the lids onto the containers, which are then conveyed to the rotary seaming mechanism.
During the first seaming operation, the edge of the lid and the flange of the can body are mechanically folded to form the initial joint.
In the second operation, the rollers compress and complete the formation of the double seam, creating a hermetic mechanical bond between the lid and the container body.
Once sealed, the cans are automatically discharged and can continue to washers, inspection systems, autoclaves, pasteurizers, coolers, labelers, and end-of-line equipment.
