This machine is equipped with a 2m LNS bar feeder, allowing it to fully automate the production of milled and turned parts directly from the bar stock.

On the main spindle, there is an E162 power chuck with a bar capacity of Ø10mm. The bar feeder itself is designed for material up to Ø65mm. Additionally, the machine is fitted with a pneumatically operated two-jaw chuck to allow complete secondary machining of components on the back side. Finished parts can then be removed by an integrated gripper and placed onto the conveyor belt.

The machine was retrofitted by CHIRON specifically for precious metal machining. This mainly means that seals within the machine have been reinforced, and the standard chip conveyor was replaced by a drawer unit with a fabric filter.

- High-speed spindle with HSK 40 interface and high-pressure coolant (max. 40,000 rpm and up to 80 bar)
