Industrial metal lathe CORMAK TORNADO 460x1500 - 2x larger casting and solid cast iron bed construction, equipped with a 12-speed gearbox with a powerful 5.5 kW/400V induction motor - maximum torque, large spindle passage 82 mm.

- High-quality spindle: Reinforced bearing system in the spindle and large passage of 82 mm guarantee optimum efficiency during work. The set also includes a 3-jaw lathe chuck with a diameter of 250 mm and a 4-jaw chuck with a diameter of 320 mm, a 5.5 kW motor.
- Efficiency and productivity: The rapid longitudinal and transverse feed system on the joystick significantly shortens the machining time, and the hardened and ground gears in the spindle gear ensure durability and reliability for years.
- Wide possibilities of threading: Thanks to the threading function (metric, inch, modular and DP), right and left, and the possibility of changing parameters without the need to replace gears, work becomes faster and more convenient. The range of supported threads includes, among others, metric (41) from 0.1 to 14 mm, inch (60) from 2 to 112 T.P.I., modular (34) from 0.1 to 7 M.P. and DP (50) from 4 to 112 D.P.
- Precise counting of threads: The lathe is equipped with a thread turning clock, which allows for quick setting of the support in the original position after unscrewing the lead screw nut.
- Ergonomics and ease of use: The intuitive control panel on the gear allows for quick adjustment of the spindle speed and automatic feed.
- Machining of large elements: The replaceable bed bridge allows for turning large elements with a diameter of up to 690 mm and a length of 240 mm (with the bridge removed), which increases the range of the device's capabilities.
