🔹 Cleaning Methods in Dürr Universal 71C

1. Spray Cleaning
- The solvent or cleaning agent is sprayed under pressure onto the parts.
- Particularly suitable for removing coarse contamination such as oil, grease, and swarf.

2. Flood / Immersion Cleaning
- The cleaning chamber is filled so that the parts are completely immersed in the solvent.
- Effective for cleaning complex geometries and blind holes.

3. Flood Washing with Rotation or Oscillation
- The basket containing the parts can rotate or oscillate within the filled chamber.
- This enhances contact between the solvent and surfaces, leading to more effective cleaning.

4. Vacuum-Assisted Cleaning

- Vacuum is applied during cleaning cycles.
- This removes air from pores and cavities, allowing the solvent to penetrate deeper.
- Especially important for precision or safety-critical components.

5. Solvent Distillation
- The machine continuously purifies the solvent via distillation.
- Ensures consistently high cleaning performance by separating oil, grease, and residues.

6. Filtration Systems
- Multiple filters (such as bag filters, fine filters, and safety filters) remove solid particles from the solvent.
- Keeps the solvent clean and extends its service life.

7. Drying Methods
- Vacuum drying: residual solvent is removed by lowering the pressure.
- Optional circulation drying with heated air is available in certain configurations.
