An opportunity to acquire 8 used steel data-center containers designed for high-density computing and cryptocurrency / Bitcoin mining applications.
The units have previously been configured for mining computers and provide a ready-made physical infrastructure that can potentially be recommissioned for cryptocurrency mining, high-density computing, or other suitable data-processing applications.

COOLING & INFRASTRUCTURE
The containers are designed around a straightforward high-volume air-cooling system.
Cooling air is drawn through large filtration sections and exhausted to the outside with large fans.
The mining computers themselves have are not included in the package. However, electrical wiring and connectors for connecting computing equipment are in the containers.
This gives a buyer an existing infrastructure platform that can be adapted according to the requirements of the intended installation.
CONDITION
7 containers are substantially complete.
The containers are generally externally tidy, with some minor rust visible around the forklift lifting areas.
Some doors between containers are missing as a result of the configuration of the previous installation.
During the appraisal inspection, the fan blades were manually checked and found to rotate freely.
1 container is incomplete and is missing its fans and front grille assembly.
One container door is also reported as damaged.
Please note that no electrical testing of the wiring or fan motors was performed as part of the appraisal, so buyers should carry out their own technical inspection and testing before commissioning the equipment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
These are used units and are offered in their present condition.
The appraisal states that production of these particular mining containers has ended. It also reports that Digital Shovel advised that the containers were assembled outside its own factory and that the manufacturer's normal warranty is therefore only available on a limited basis.
Prospective purchasers are encouraged to inspect the equipment and independently verify its electrical, mechanical and operational condition before purchase.
