Used continuous finishing line for steel plates and strips, consisting of 15 stations in line. Entry section: DIMECO chuck-expandable mandrel decoiler, straightener with roller, welder, drive group and accumulation table. Surface preparation: FISHER shot blaster in line with dust extractor and suspended shear-brush. Dimensioning: cold rolling cage in dry (duo), continuously tensioned straightener and Zumbach USYS laser measurement. Outlet section: pneumatic shear, saw for length, receiving conveyor for bars and dedicated winding for the product. Schneider Electric Magelis control panel with bar and crown modes. Capacities, year and installed power: not disclosed.

Machine operation

This line decarburization, cold rolling and calibrating line converts hot-rolled strip or sheet coils into shot-blasted, rolled, straightened and inspected products, delivered in cut-to-length bars or in coils. It is intended for steel plants, flat wire and strip producers, manufacturers of springs, blades and parts cutouts, as well as flat products finishing centers.

Complete finishing line, from unwinding to packaging, with mechanical decarbonization by shot blasting without chemical decarburization. The components come from still-active manufacturers (DIMECO, Zumbach, Schneider Electric), which facilitates parts supply. Production in bar or coil on the same line.
