Depending on the type of cross-cutting knife and the diameter of the straightening rollers, the thickness of the processed metal varies from 1 mm to 2 mm. Integrated automatic control saves time in the long term, because changing the operating parameters of the machine is enough to press one button. The Forstner SLIT series is a reliable assistant when cutting rolled metal. The SLIT CUT and SLIT PRO models not only cut the metal, but also cut it lengthwise into strips of the selected width. As standard, these models are equipped with 5 longitudinal cutting knives (the maximum number of knives is 7). The main difference between the SLIT CUT and SLIT PRO models is the type of cutting knife - a circular shear or a guillotine.
