FRIGOSCANDIA spiral IQF freezing tunnel, designed for the rapid and continuous freezing of food products through intensive circulation of cold air and a spiral transport system.

IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) technology allows for the rapid freezing of individual product units, helping to minimize adhesion between them and facilitating subsequent dosing, handling, and packaging.

The spiral configuration provides a long residence time while occupying a relatively compact footprint, making it particularly suitable for high-production industrial facilities.

PROCESS

The product enters the freezer continuously and is transported through the spiral belt located inside the refrigeration chamber.

During its movement, a controlled circulation of air at a very low temperature produces a rapid extraction of heat, progressively reducing the product's temperature until the required freezing conditions are reached.

The speed of the belt allows for control of the residence time based on the type of product, dimensions, inlet temperature, and required final temperature.

APPLICATIONS

Particularly suitable for processors of fruits and vegetables, meat products, fish and seafood, bakery products, prepared dishes, and manufacturers of frozen foods.
