Coordinate drilling machine / jig boring machine with tool kit in excellent, exceptional condition, second owner (41 years in current ownership). Electrical system partially overhauled and modernized. If interested, additional tools can be purchased for an extra charge.

This coordinate drilling machine has the rare option of motorized table drive in the X and Y axes, and potentiometers. This eliminates the tedious process of manually positioning each coordinate over a longer distance using hand cranks. Furthermore, it features rare thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. Two heaters are provided for this purpose, which can and must be switched on separately before starting work to maintain high accuracy and dimensions. This explains the factory-specified high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

What makes this unit unique is that the Hauser has two Heidenhain digital displays with a total of 4 glass scales with 1My resolution, also for the quill feed. This is a significant advantage for precise drilling and milling at depth with Wohlhaupter, spindle tools, etc. With the features mentioned and in this first-class condition, it is very rare and highly unlikely to be available again.

Those familiar with these machines, which are primarily used in the watch industry, precision engineering, material testing, and the optical industry, know the value of these masterpieces of mechanical engineering. Also ideally suited for engine construction/overhaul, testing laboratories, technical universities and training, materials technology, special machine construction, etc.
