Machine Base
Conveyor unit with a single transport belt, adjustable feed speed from 3 to 15 m/min by frequency inverter, including transport belt cleaning device. Constant working height of 920 mm. Automatic adjustment for various workpiece thicknesses (3 - 80 mm) via motor-driven movement of the upper machine section. The lifting gear’s toothed belt is dust-protected, and its operation is monitored via the integrated control cabinet.

1. Cross Sanding Unit
Belt dimensions: 5,400 x 150 mm
Drive power: 13/17 kW
Sanding belt with additional blast tube for belt cleaning, wear-resistant brake unit, pressure segment belt system, intermittent belt cleaning system, and belt alignment control. Includes a door with glass window.

2. Longitudinal Sanding Unit
Belt dimensions: 2,620 x 1,350 mm
Drive power: 13/17 kW
Belt with double cleaning nozzles, wear-resistant brake unit, automatic belt length compensation, sanding belt operation counter to feed direction, intermittent belt cleaning, and infrared belt control. The front roller (steel) has an eccentric bearing for light calibrating, controlled from the operator terminal.

3. Longitudinal Sanding Unit
Belt dimensions: 2,620 x 1,350 mm
Belt speeds: 0.5 – 18 m/s
Drive power: 17 kW with frequency inverter
Continuously adjustable sanding belt speed, double cleaning nozzle setup, wear-resistant brake unit, automatic belt length compensation, counter-feed direction sanding, intermittent belt cleaning, and infrared belt control.

4. Brush Roller Unit
Centrally height adjustable, includes extraction hood and press-on roller.
Roller diameter: 150 mm
Drive power: 1.5 kW
Bristles: fiber

5. Workpiece Suction Device
Ensures safe transport of workpieces shorter than 500 mm in the feed direction, with integrated extractor fan.

Voltage: 400 V, 50 Hz
Belt exchange: left

6. Ionization Bar (from above)
Removes static electricity, including high-voltage transformer.

7. Workpiece blow-off device with rotating compressed air nozzles inside the frame.

The machine is ready for operation at your facility after mechanical and electrical overhaul by an authorized Heesemann service partner. Fitted with a new conveyor belt.
