The VOLLGATTER OLYMPIA UNIVERSAL is a high-precision and energy-efficient sawmill machine, engineered for maximum stability, durability, and easy maintenance.

Construction and Frame

The saw frame is made of high-strength, forged steel and is completely machined on all sides. The massive steel welded structure of the side stand is stress-relief annealed to ensure absolute dimensional stability and minimize vibration.

Energy-Efficient Frame Guidance

The patented saw frame guiding system operates without continuous oil-film lubrication, which reduces energy consumption and simplifies maintenance.

Roller and Feed Technology

The feed rollers are split down the center and can be replaced quickly. Roller pressure can be precisely adjusted using manometers and pressure control valves. A robust synchronizing shaft (MULLER system) ensures uniform raising and lowering of the upper rollers.

Drive and Safety

The upper roller drive operates via slip clutches to provide overload protection. Guide rollers ensure optimal chain tension and sufficient wrap-around on the drive sprocket.
