Configuration:

- Automatic pallet exchange
- When a pallet is completed, the system automatically ejects it to the side output and feeds a new pallet from the infeed track
- Automatic sheet feeding and counting
- Automatic jogging and aeration
- Automatic air removal from the pile
- Automatic feeding into the airboard loader
- Automatic loading of airboards
- Automatic unloading of the pile onto a pallet, including airboards

Basic functions of the BASA system:

- Automatically loads materials from a pallet
- The transport system allows sequential loading from 2 pallets arranged in line; the empty pallet is automatically ejected
- Counts / deducts the exact number of sheets
- Jogs, aligns, aerates, and presses the piles
- Places jogged piles onto separator cardboard

- Subsequently separates piles using an airboard
- Unloads piles onto a pallet
- The BASA system only requires an operator to input or select a job in the system and to supply full pallets and remove empty ones
- In off-line mode, the system can “feed” 2–3 cutting machines depending on the material used and pallet loading quality
