The MAZAK VTC-820/30 is a high-performance CNC vertical machining center designed for precise and efficient machining of large workpieces. With generous travel distances of 3,000 mm on the X-axis, 820 mm on the Y-axis, and 720 mm on the Z-axis, this machine is especially suitable for long and complex components in mechanical engineering, mold making, and general metalworking.

The robust worktable, measuring approximately 3,500 × 820 mm, allows for the accommodation of large-dimensioned workpieces. The powerful main spindle, with speeds up to 12,000 rpm and a drive power of around 22 kW, ensures high metal removal rates and accuracy. The CAT 40 (ISO 40) spindle taper provides broad tool compatibility.

The machine is equipped with a state-of-the-art MAZATROL SmoothG control system, offering intuitive operation, fast programming, and high process reliability. The 48-position tool changer enables flexible and efficient production processes, even for complex manufacturing tasks.

To ensure optimal production conditions, the machining center features through-spindle coolant supply, a chip conveyor, and a lubricant preparation system. With a machine weight of approximately 16,500 kg, the VTC-820/30 offers outstanding stability and vibration damping, which has a positive effect on surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
