Key features of the K-MT adsorption dryer series include:

• Adsorber profiles manufactured in one piece
• Separately controlled main and blow-down valves in a leak-proof design
• Compact check valve combination, which guarantees continuous operational reliability while maintaining high availability.

All adsorption dryers in the K-MT series feature:

• Self-cleaning sieve beds on the wet side
• High-quality desiccant

During adsorption, the desiccant absorbs the moisture contained in the compressed air.

Parker Zander uses only highly active desiccant of the molecular sieve type with high capacity.

This desiccant guarantees a long service life, even at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points.

Regeneration takes place in counterflow to the adsorption process.

A portion of the dried compressed air is depressurized to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed to be regenerated.

The moisture stored during adsorption is carried away with the partial flow of dry regeneration air.

The regeneration air requirement of 14.3% for cold-regenerating adsorption dryers refers to:

Pressure dew point: -40°C
in a cycle with:
- 5 minutes adsorption
- 4 minutes desorption

The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle, with 5 minutes of adsorption, includes 12 load changes per hour.

The standard 6-minute cycle, with 3 minutes of adsorption, requires 20 load changes per hour and therefore inevitably results in 5.6% more regeneration.

The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle saves energy costs while reducing wear and tear.

Multitronic, the control system, with new, groundbreaking functions and a new design, is perfectly tailored to the cold-regenerating adsorption dryers of the K-MT series.
