The Rex Technologie RKS 85 is a high-performance, automatic sausage hanging and cutting system (longitudinally calibrating), designed as a peripheral device that works directly with vacuum stuffers. This 2016 model is a key component in the automation of production processes in medium and large-scale sausage manufacturing plants.

The RKS 85 system's function is to precisely and consistently portion a continuous sausage strand into equal segments (whether in natural, artificial, or collagen casings), and then automatically form loops and precisely feed them onto hooks for easy transfer to smoking racks. The machine minimizes the risk of casing rupture and guarantees consistent weight and identical length for each individual sausage.

Key features and advantages:
- Precise portion control and calibration: The advanced belt-driven guidance and portioning system gently but firmly grips the casing. This eliminates air pockets inside the sausage and ensures the ideal appearance of the finished product.

- Versatility and quick changeover: The machine handles a wide range of sausage calibers and lengths, from thin chorizo to classic grilling sausages and hot dogs. Changing operating parameters and product types is done smoothly from the control computer of the stuffer or the machine's panel.
