STUDER S30 -1

STUDER S30-1, manufactured in 2005, machine no. 019.3784 – universal cylindrical grinding machine, hydraulically controlled, for between-centers grinding and external grinding. Well-maintained, original condition, no indication of damage or weld repairs.

Included: Original operating manual from Fritz Studer AG (DE/EN/FR, including spare parts catalog and noise measurement report) and EC declaration of conformity, both issued for this machine number. According to this factory documentation, it is the version with a center distance of 1,000 mm.

- Grinding spindle with external grinding wheel on the left, Ø 400 x 80 x Ø 127 mm, hydrodynamic plain bearings, mounting taper Ø 63 mm
- Workpiece spindle, swiveling 0-90°, MK 5, collet chucks W-25, 30-1,000 min-1 continuously variable via frequency converter
- Three-jaw chuck mounted, drive for between-centers grinding, centering point in the tailstock
- Tailstock MK 3, quill stroke 35 mm, adjustable spindle pressure, fine adjustment for roundness ± 40 µm
- Adjustable dressing device on the tailstock (dressing by hand; diamond is a wear part)
- Digital display Sony LD10 on swivel arm
- Hydraulic unit Wandfluh (CH), coolant supply with filtration and aerosol extraction
- Machine bed made of mineral cast Granitan S103
- 8 grinding wheel mounting flanges, including one balancing flange

IMPORTANT – WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
This machine does NOT have an internal grinding attachment, NO belt spindles, and NO in-process measuring control. The series is prepared for these at the factory, but none of them are installed on this machine; available as accessories from STUDER. Grinding wheels are also not included in the scope of delivery. We only describe what we can document photographically.

CONDITIONS
Location: 16727 Velten near Berlin. Machine packed on a wooden pallet, delivery 1-2 working days after payment receipt. FCA Velten (Incoterms 2020), loading onto your truck by our staff included. Payment: 100% advance payment. Inspection possible with short notice by appointment. Demonstration and test grinding only by appointment: the machine is disconnected, setup will be carried out by an external service provider; we will agree on the effort and costs in advance.
