The company began operations in 1996 at its Bad Salzungen site with just eight employees. Today, HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH, with around 600 employees worldwide, is one of the leading companies in the field of shredding technology. This broad experience highlights the company’s extensive expertise in the area of material reduction and shredding systems.

Today, HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH does not only manufacture in Bad Salzungen, in the heart of Thuringia, where final assembly of HAMMEL products takes place. With the support of approximately 350 employees at our two Ukrainian subsidiaries, Olnova and Hadea, the steel structures for our shredders are produced. Working together as an efficient production team, we respond quickly and reliably to current customer demands. This enables us to manufacture and deliver standard machines to our customers within the shortest possible timeframes. We also develop complete processing plants and custom machinery in close cooperation with our partners.
