C.S. Développements is a French engineering firm based in Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine) specializing in the development and implementation of thin films deposited under vacuum via magnetron sputtering.

For our research and development needs, we are equipped with a range of vacuum deposition installations and equipment, which we customize as required.

We possess optical spectroscopy instruments to analyze thin films, ensuring their quality and thickness. We also model and determine the optical properties of your thin films.

Additionally, we manufacture custom deposition sources: planar cathodes (for targets from 1 to 12 inches in diameter or larger), rectangular cathodes (15 cm up to several meters in length, various widths), tubular, cylindrical, and rotary cathodes. We service and modify all types of cathodes from other manufacturers.

We design and manufacture research and development and/or production machines as needed, or retrofit existing equipment (retrofit—partnerships possible). We also offer a range of new and used vacuum equipment, along with layer control instruments (sheet resistance measurement).

We can also provide services related to helium leak detectors, including rental (with or without our support), maintenance and servicing of various brands, in particular: Varian, Weeco, VIC (Vacuum Instrument Corporation), and more.
