- Berkmann extraction systems operate on the principle of displacement airflow, i.e. a negative pressure is created on one side of the room (wall), while the supply air system generates positive pressure on the opposite side.

- As a result, nearly all of the room air flows in a directed and low-turbulence manner from the supply air side towards the exhaust side.

- Spray mist generated in the airflow zone is captured and removed.

- Unlike conventional systems, Berkmann extraction systems provide extraction across the entire area, not merely in the intake zone of the spray wall.

- This makes it possible to paint larger components.

- Furthermore, it is not necessary to work directly in front of the extraction unit.

- Thanks to the patented "slot extraction" feature, high slot extraction velocities can be achieved on all sides (including the floor area where solvents accumulate).

- The special arrangement allows for extremely large filter surfaces, resulting in very long filter service lives.

- Compared to traditional spray booths, Berkmann extraction systems operate with significantly lower air volumes, enabling energy savings of up to 50%.
