The pump is not suitable for:
Water, food industry and non-corrosive media.
For these media, cheaper materials such as 1.4408 or 1.4571 are more suitable.

The pump is made of the special material Alloy 59 !!!
This alloy is used when the corrosion resistance of conventional chromium-nickel steels is no longer sufficient.
Especially when chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking are a problem.

Alloy 59 is used for: Environmental engineering, chemical industry (chemical processes with oxidizing and reducing acids, resistance to moist chlorine gas) and waste incineration plants. 2.4605 is mainly used in the chemical industry, the pulp and paper industry and in flue gas desulphurization plants.

Excellent resistance to mineral acids such as nitric, phosphoric, sulphuric and hydrochloric acid and in particular to sulphuric/hydrochloric acid mixtures
