Unlike conventional liquid nitrogen-based freezers, the CRF-1 is liquid nitrogen and cryogen-free, eliminating contamination risks and making it suitable for use in cleanrooms and barrier facilities. It offers superior performance in terms of cell viability post-freezing and poses no fire hazard, unlike alcohol-based systems.

The CRF-1 allows for highly accurate, reproducible, and controlled freezing rates, crucial for the cryopreservation of biological samples, ensuring optimal recovery upon thawing.
