The Hamba 2400 is an automatic, single-lane cup filling and sealing machine with a rotary design.

The system is specifically designed for filling and airtight sealing of liquid to highly viscous products (e.g., yogurt, cream cheese, cream, sauces, or deli products) into pre-formed cups.

Upon request, the machine can be modified and adapted to customer specifications.
In particular, adjustments can be made for the cup format and the product to be filled, as well as for the product feed.

1. Technical Specifications and Performance Data

Production capacity: Maximum 2,400 cups per hour (depending on the cycle and product).
Dosing range: Flexibly adjustable from 100 to 500 ml (special versions from 5 ml are feasible).
Format flexibility: Standard design for round cups with a sealing plate diameter of 75 mm to 95 mm (change tools for different formats or rectangular cups can be adapted).
Indexing gearbox: 12-part aluminum rotary table for precise station timing.
Machine weight / footprint: Compact dimensions of approximately 1,300 x 1,300 x 2,000 mm with a weight of approximately 500 kg.

2. Process Flow and Functionality

Cup destacking: Automatic cup feed from the magazine into the cells of the rotary table using vacuum suction cups.

Cup check: Sensor-based check (No-Cup-Control) to prevent underfilling.

Dosing station: Volumetric piston dosing via a stainless steel product hopper (usually with mechanical or pneumatic level control).

Sealing plate placement: Precise placement of the pre-cut sealing plate (aluminum or PET) from the magazine.

Sealing station: Thermal heat sealing of the sealing plate to the cup rim.

Cup discharge: Automatic lifting of the cups and transfer to a downstream discharge conveyor.
