The machine is still under power and available at short notice.

• P8 Power Supply worth €1,500 was newly replaced in August 2024
• The spindle was repaired in 2017 and, since then, has mostly been used in single-shift operation, as we primarily produce single parts and small batches. For this reason, the machine has spent most of its time being set up.

Known defects:
Rapid traverse speed of the X axis has been reduced by 20% to extend the life of the telescopic covers.
The sealing ring on the pallet changer is likely defective, leading to oil leakage. As a temporary fix, we installed a ball valve in between; when we need to change pallets (which is not very often), we open it manually.
