The Viessmann Tecto RF WMC3 1450 (also known under the series designation TectoRefrigo) is a state-of-the-art, plug-and-play piggyback refrigeration unit for wall mounting in refrigeration rooms for standard cooling applications.

Key Features

• Piggyback design: The monoblock unit is simply inserted into a corresponding opening in the refrigeration room wall ("piggyback"). The maximum wall thickness may be 150 mm.
• Hot gas defrosting: The unit has an automatic, demand-controlled hot gas defrosting system with integrated condensate evaporation, so that a separate drain is usually not required.
• Smart electronics: Equipped with modern control, Bluetooth connectivity (for app control and data tracking) and an automatic leak detection system.
• Components: Thermostatic expansion valve, pressure sensors and efficient, internally finned heat exchangers.

Important Application Notes

• Ambient temperature: The unit is designed exclusively for operation in closed rooms with an ambient temperature of +5 °C to +43 °C. It does not have a winter control function and is not weather resistant (no outdoor installation).
• Accessories for Viessmann rooms: If the WMC3 unit is installed on a conventional Viessmann refrigeration room, a special adapter cable and a converter box are usually required to connect the door contact switch and the power supply without errors.
