Zünd G3 XL3200

The Zünd G3 XL-3200 is a professional digital cutting and routing machine with a working area of 2,270 x 3,200 mm and three module positions. The machine is suitable for both sheet and roll materials and features a conveyor for automatic material transport. The conveyor belt is in excellent condition. Maintenance performed by Zünd, last time on 17-08-2026.

The material pass-through is 120 mm. With suitable tooling, materials up to 110 mm thick can be processed. This includes a POT Pneumatic Oscillating Tool with an 8 mm stroke and long 1.5 mm oscillating blades. This combination is suitable for cutting thick and soft materials.

The machine features two UM-120 Universal Modules for various cutting, creasing, and marking tools, and an RM-120 routing module. The main tools are:

UCT Universal Cutting Tool for standard blade cutting.
PPT Passe-Partout Tool for 45° cuts.
POT Pneumatic Oscillating Tool for thick and soft materials, with blades up to 110 mm cutting depth.
RM-120 Routing Module with a 1 kW high-frequency routing spindle and a 6 mm collet.
Set of 6 mm milling cutters for, among other things, foam.

This allows the machine to cut, oscillate cut, make 45° cuts, route, drill, and engrave. Automatic tool initialization (ITI) ensures the setting of cutting and routing tools.

For material transport, the G3 is equipped with a conveyor belt, a 1,600 mm infeed extension, and a 3,200 mm outfeed extension. In addition, a transport beam, extra drive, and a passive roll-off unit are included. The roll unit can handle material rolls up to Ø350 mm and a maximum of 70 kg. A material guide roll reduces wrinkles and creases during infeed.

To secure the material, the machine has a self-regulating vacuum turbine of 1-9 kW.

The integrated ICC color camera handles the recognition of registration marks and supports, among other things, border recognition, best-fit, fit-to-object, and fit-to-job. This allows printed materials to also be cut accurately.

The machine is controlled with Zünd Cut Center V3.x. The configuration includes Cut Server, Cut Manager, Cut Editor, Cut Queue, Routing Option, and Camera Option. Jobs can be processed automatically via hotfolders. A wireless barcode scanner allows for automatic loading of jobs from the queue.

The complete machine configuration is approximately 9,510 x 4,220 mm. Approximately 11,510 x 6,220 mm of floor space is required. The minimum ceiling height is 3,000 mm; due to the guidance of the routing module, a minimum of 3,200 mm must be taken into account for this configuration.

The conveyor, automatic material feed, roll processing, camera recognition, and workflow automation make the machine suitable for both single pieces and automated production.
