COMQUIMA COSMOS 250

New COSMOS 250 emulsion reactor, manufactured by COMQUIMA in 2026.

Stainless steel skid, AISI 316 in all parts in contact with the product, with a useful capacity of 250 liters. It consists of a jacketed reactor and an agitation system with scrapers and homogenization:

AGITATION:

FULLVISC system with laminar flow and scrapers.
Exclusive design with 3 arms and scrapers.
Nominal speed of 40 rpm and power of 4 kW.

HOMOGENIZATION:

High shear emulsifier M.X.O.N. 120.
Mechanical seal with safety sealing.
Nominal speed of 2,900 rpm and power of 5.5 kW.

Designed to centralize the production of fine emulsions, suspensions, and high-viscosity products in a single unit, which can be easily handled with a pallet truck or forklift. It allows processing products up to 70,000 cps and achieving a particle size of 10 μm.

The unit is controlled by an integrated control panel and includes a vacuum pump, CIP cleaning balls, load cells in the legs, and hydraulic pistons for lifting the upper bottom. Optionally, a temperature control system can be added to carry out the heating and cooling of the jacket.
