GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Advanced tooling with a dense and symmetrical structure of the clamping elements. Designed for precise positioning and rigid clamping of geometrically complex components (e.g., car body panels) during automated welding or spot welding processes. The design features a high degree of repeatability of the base points and is fully adaptable for mounting on a welding rotator.

COMPONENTS:

1. DESTACO brand pneumatic (knee-type) clamps – 30 pieces. Heavy-duty clamping elements responsible for the mechanical locking of the part.

2. FESTO brand compact pneumatic cylinders – 14 pieces. Used for extending the positioning pins or auxiliary locks.

3. Clamp position sensors (inductive/magnetic) – approx. 30 pieces. Monitor the open and closed states of the clamping elements.

4. Pneumatic installation in thermal shields (Pyrojacket type) – a complete system of manifolds with flexible hoses in thick, red, fire-resistant braids, protecting against welding spatter.

5. Valve manifolds / pneumatic distributor blocks – 2 pieces. Control the operating sequences of the individual clamps.

6. Positioning blocks, reference bases (NC blocks) and pins. Precisely milled support points with engraved technological coordinates.

7. Main structural frame – 1 piece. Rigid, stress-relieved welded structure made of closed profiles, equipped with transport lugs and mounting plates for the rotator disc.
