CNC milling machines are operated using a special software program (CAD/CAM), which enables the precise processing of various materials such as metal, plastic, foam, stone, or wood in a short amount of time. The drawing or model created using the software generates the manufacturing process. This allows, for example, the milling of a prototype or the start of production for a series of standard parts.
Once the design is complete, the CNC control system takes over the task of moving the horizontal and vertical axes during the entire machining process. The milling machine's motor can be switched on directly when the computer program starts, under the supervision of the operator. This enables them to efficiently perform a large number of cutting, engraving, surface milling, or drilling operations by removing material from the surface or in depth, to produce complex parts with high precision.

Digital milling technology enables operations with a high degree of end-product quality, a reduced risk of wear on the machined parts, and increased reliability, as the fragility of the manufactured products is reduced, even for parts with small dimensions or diameters. Thanks to an improved configuration of the work steps, it offers the advantage of increasing production speed while maintaining optimal manufacturing quality.
